Bulb Success!
When planting your Bulbs, ensure that the base of the bulb is firmly in contact with the soil underneath the bulb. Air pockets under the bulb are the most common cause of bulb failure. (bad rooting).
Narcissi in bouquets
Before using Narcissi in flower arrangements, soak the stems in water for 4 hours; as the stems contain a 'slime' which can cause other blooms to die. Alternatively dousing with water containing a 2 drops of bleach will have the same effect. (be careful with the bleach).
