How to take care of Amaryllis Red in pot 12cm

Plant the Hippeastrum Red 12 cm pot bulb up to three quarters of its height in the pot. Water well after planting and then not again until the leaves appear above the bulb. Attention: compost should never be waterlogged as Hippeastrum Red 12 cm pot bulbs will only produce leaves at the expense of flowers. Place the pots in direct sunlight at room temperature. If conditions prevent planting directly into borders (if soil is frozen or waterlogged), best to plant Liatris in pots, watered sparingly and grown on in a cool position until you can plant them outside.
