How to take care of Ingrid Marie

Soak the roots for approx. 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy deciduous Ingrid Marie shrub it’s leaves do not appear until late spring.

Flowers appear in late summer and early autumn. Ingrid Marie needs a sunny sheltered position to thrive in. In colder areas, plant Ingrid Marie near a south-facing wall. Protect Ingrid Marie from cold winds.

Use a well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Remove faded flower heads as they fade to prolong flowering. If Ingrid Marie is planted in pots, plant in spring. There will be little growth in the first year.

Ingrid Marie do well in various soil types. Ingrid Marie likes to be constantly moist, but not wet. Feed twice a month during the growing season and prune as necessary to control plant size. Container-grown Ingrid Marie plants should be brought indoors in extreme winter conditions.

Check Ingrid Marie plants periodically for pests such as aphids, white flies, and mealy bugs. Use a horticultural oil or insecticidal soap to control these pests.
