How to take care of Roter Berlepsch

Soak the roots for approx. 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy deciduous Roter Berlepsch shrub it’s leaves do not appear until late spring.

Flowers appear in late summer and early autumn. Roter Berlepsch needs a sunny sheltered position to thrive in. In colder areas, plant Roter Berlepsch near a south-facing wall. Protect Roter Berlepsch from cold winds.

Use a well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Remove faded flower heads as they fade to prolong flowering. If Roter Berlepsch is planted in pots, plant in spring. There will be little growth in the first year.

Roter Berlepsch do well in various soil types. Roter Berlepsch likes to be constantly moist, but not wet. Feed twice a month during the growing season and prune as necessary to control plant size. Container-grown Roter Berlepsch plants should be brought indoors in extreme winter conditions.

Check Roter Berlepsch plants periodically for pests such as aphids, white flies, and mealy bugs. Use a horticultural oil or insecticidal soap to control these pests.
