Armeria maritima Splendens
Armeria maritima is also known as Sea Thrift because in the wild it’s found mostly in coastal areas where few other plants can survive. It’s a lovely compact low growing perennial for the border, rock garden or border edging. Its blooms begin as white ball-shaped clusters on tall stems, before opening a beautiful shade of pink.
