How to take care of Begonia Grandiflora Red

Tuberous Begonia Grandiflora Red do not grow well in dry arid conditions without special care and attention. Begonia Grandiflora Red are perfect for window boxes and hanging baskets, you can also plant Begonia Grandiflora Red directly in the ground from mid-April when frost has passed.

Begonia Grandiflora Red do not like direct sunlight and morning sun so place Begonia Grandiflora Red in a partially shaded location away from strong winds. Plant Begonia Grandiflora Red tubers hollow side up at the recommend depth advised on the packet.

Water thoroughly to stimulate growth. Never let the soil dry out, keep Begonia Grandiflora Red moist but avoid over watering. Begonia Grandiflora Red foliage needs to be kept as dry as possible as overhead watering can lead to mildew.

Feed every two or three weeks with a liquid fertilizer for best results. Remove any faded flower heads regularly to promote new growth and to prevent disease and mold spots on the leaf of the plant. Begonia Grandiflora Red can take up 3 months to produce a flower.

Begonia Grandiflora Red will not tolerate frost. Plant concave side upwards
