Clematis Dr Ruppel has star-shaped blooms are a pretty shade of pink striped with carmine red and it has beige anthers. This stunning Clematis is compact growing so it is one of the best varieties for growing in containers.
Clematis Dr Ruppel flowers spring to early summer and again at the end of summer, attractive seed heads add interest well into autumn follow its flowers.
This variety belongs to early large flowering prune group 2 that needs to be pruned in late winter or early spring and after its first flush of flowers in summer, this will encourage it to flower again later in summer.
