Cosmos Sensation really is sensational, it produces very large blooms on dainty fern-like foliage in July. They grow quite tall so they are best suited to the back of the border. How to take care of Cosmos Sensation
Sow seed ½ cm deep and cover with a thin layer of soil, once they have germinated this usuallly takes 1 week, and grown into seedlings approx 15cms high they can be transplanted outdoors, when any chance of frost has passed.
They require a very sunny sheltered location and will grow happily in most garden soils. Space plants 50cm apart, plants may need to be staked, if exposed to heavy winds. Fertilise every two to four weeks with a water soluble fertiliser.
