How to take care of Dianthus David

Upon receipt: water the root balls well. Good drainage is essential for winter hardiness. Dianthus David plants perform best in areas with cool summers. Divide clumps every second spring, or plant new Dianthus David to maintain vigor.

Plant Dianthus David in full sun or light shade. Once established, Dianthus David should grow well with few problems but never let the soil dry out. In the growing season you can add a general purpose fertilizer.

Keep them well weeded, or apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch for a tidy appearance.
