How to take care of Dicentra spectabilis Red
Dicentra spectabilis Red is best planted where they can be protected from cold spring winds as early buds are easily damaged. Dicentra spectabilis Red works well in a humus rich moist soil and once established can be quite drought tolerant. Place Dicentra spectabilis Red in a sheltered sunny position with a little shade. If the clumps need dividing in the future, it’s best to do it in autumn, taking extra care not to damage the central crown. No pruning or deadheading required.
