Euphorbia baioensis is a spiny succulent plant which orginates from Kenya. It isn't an actual cactus, but it looks a lot like one. It forms attractive dense thickets with grey-blue skin and red spines.
Also known as pencil cacti and is a low maintenance houseplant that just needs some bright light and a little bit of water to do well.

How to take care of Euphorbia baioensis
Position Euphorbia baioensis in a bright sunny south-facing window. Euphorbia baioensis need direct sunlight and moderate watering during their growing season. Allow the soil to dry out between each watering. Feed with a little bit of some liquid fertiliser during the growing season. Euphorbia are quite fast growing plants and will need to be transplanted to a bigger pot every other year use free draining compost mixed with sand and add pebbles to the bottom of the pot to ensure extra drainage.
Like most other Euphorbia's this variety contains a poisonous sap, which can cause irritation, so care should be taken when handling it.
