Euphorbia lactea is a very fascinating and unique succulent. Not to be confused with cacti, Euphorbias only look like cacti because of their "spines". This attractive Euphorbia has wavy, crested stems in green with ivory markings which are lined with rows of small spines. They originate mostly from India and are also named Candelabra Tree

How to take care of Euphorbia lactea

Position Euphorbia lactea in a bright sunny south-facing window. Euphorbia lactea need direct sunlight and moderate watering during their growing season. Allow the soil to dry out between each watering.

Feed with a little bit of some liquid fertiliser during the growing season. Euphorbia are quite fast growing plants and will need to be transplanted to a bigger pot every other year use free draining compost mixed with sand and add pebbles to the bottom of the pot to ensure extra drainage.
