How to take care of × Moerlandsii Profusion

Soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy deciduous shrub; its leaves do not appear until late spring. Flowers appear in late summer and early autumn.

It needs a sunny sheltered position to thrive in. In colder areas, plant it near a south-facing wall. Protect it from cold winds. It does well in various soil types. Use a well-drained soil enriched with organic matter for best results.

It will thrive in moist soils. Remove faded flower heads as they fade to prolong flowering. There will be little growth in the first year. Since plants bloom on new growth, prune as needed after flowering but before June.
