How to take care of Reine claude dAlthan

Soak the roots for approx. 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy deciduous Reine claude d'Althan shrub it’s leaves do not appear until late spring.

Flowers appear in late summer and early autumn. Reine claude d'Althan needs a sunny sheltered position to thrive in. In colder areas, plant Reine claude d'Althan near a south-facing wall. Protect Reine claude d'Althan from cold winds.

Use a well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Remove faded flower heads as they fade to prolong flowering. If Reine claude d'Althan is planted in pots, plant in spring. There will be little growth in the first year.

Reine claude d'Althan do well in various soil types. Reine claude d'Althan likes to be constantly moist, but not wet. Feed twice a month during the growing season and prune as necessary to control plant size.
