How to take care of Anemone hybrida Hadspen Abundance
Plant Anemone hybrida Hadspen Abundance in any well-drained garden soil. Avoid wet, poorly-drained soils, particularly in winter. Combine the topsoil with a mixture of compost, sand and loam for best results. Best planted in partial shade location just below the soil level. Flowering stems tend to flop in too much shade. Anemone hybrida Hadspen Abundance prefers sheltered locations with protection from wind. Foliage tends to burn in hot, dry, sunny summer conditions. Soils must not be allowed to dry out. Once established apply a light fertiliser during the growth period (March - August). Anemone hybrida Hadspen Abundance are slow to establish and hardiness can be a problem in harsh winters. Plants may not survive wet overwintering conditions unless good drainage is provided. Mulch them lightly in early winter for added protection. The clumps can be divided in spring if necessary but Anemone hybrida Hadspen Abundance do not like to be disturbed.
