Geraniums are perfect summer bedding plants for a sunny spot. Geranium cinereum Subcaulescens is low, mat-forming, evergreen perennial. Its silvery sage-green leaves are a stunning backdrop to the masses of bright pink flowers with black centres which are borne in summer right through until first frosts. The foliage frequently has very nice autumn colours and its flowers are highly attractive to butterflies. Suitable for growing on rockeries, screes or in troughs or sinks.

How to take care of Geranium cinereum Subcaulescens
Plant Geranium cinereum Subcaulescens in any reasonable garden soil. Plant Geranium cinereum Subcaulescens at the recommended depth in sunny to partially shady areas. Geranium cinereum Subcaulescens should not be allowed to dry out; in very dry summers make sure that Geranium cinereum Subcaulescens are frequently watered. Remove dead flower heads as they appear to encourage new growth. Cutting back old flowering stems keeps Geranium cinereum Subcaulescens tidy and will encourage a further flush of flowers and will prevent over-seeding. Divide clumps in early spring or late autumn. If supplied as bare roots please soak them for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
