How to take care of Acer Palmatum Osakazuki
Water well upon receipt of the Acer palmatum - Klon palmowy Osakazuki. Require a neutral to acidic soil. Plant Acer palmatum - Klon palmowy Osakazukiin light shady sheltered location as it needs protection from cold winds and hot morning sun, which damage the leaves. Best position is somewhere you can see the sun shining through the leaves. Prepare planting site with 50% potting compost and 50% top soil, plant Acer palmatum - Klon palmowy Osakazukiso that the root ball is just below the surface and water well for the next few weeks. Apply a top dressing of organic fertiliser during early spring but not at the time of planting wait for about 6 weeks before applying fertiliser for the first time. Give the young trees support by means of a cane. Never let the roots dry out. Pruning is not necessary but you can cut out dead wood in spring.
