How to take care of Jasminoides Cape Jasmin
These beautiful shrubs usually grow in a round shape, with glossy and leathery leaves. It blooms in mid-spring to early summer over a fairly long season. Gardenias require an acid soil, ideally moist and high in organic matter, but well drained.
You can place them outside from May-September in a sheltered spot (near a wall). Take indoors in October-April. Protect from frost. Grows in partial shade to sun. Keep it moist, but not waterlogged. Good air circulation can help keep pests down.
Gardenias are unfortunately prone to pests, but they are easily controlled with environmentally sprays.
