Pruning is not necessary although you can trim once a year this type of baby rose into shape and remove dead flower-heads regularly. Never let Ground Covering Rose Gärtnerfreude dry out. Ground Covering Rose Gärtnerfreude must be watered daily or even twice daily in very dry weather. Remember: Lack of sun and moisture can result in poor growth. If purchased in fall/winter do not be alarmed at their appearance; they are merely dormant for winter. Ground Covering Rose Gärtnerfreude are conserving energy in their roots to flourish in early spring..
