How to take care of Hemerocallis Madeline Nettles Eyes Bare
Plant Hemerocallis Madeline Nettles Eyes Bare in full sun or part shade in moist soil. Hemerocallis Madeline Nettles Eyes Bare like best moist conditions but will tolerate dryer soils. Prepare the planting area by digging a hole larger than the root ball, plant at a depth according to the instruction on the package. Spread the roots out. Plant so that the crown is level with the surface of the soil. Apply some organic fertiliser on top of the soil. Remove withered flower heads regularly. A good mulch of wood chips or bark will help to preserve the moisture in the summer. Divide if necessary every 3 - 4 years and replant. If supplied as bare roots: Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
