Euphorbia horrida also knowns as African milk barrel is a very strong spiny succulent with upright columns of uneven large blue-grey to grey-green clumping stems.
It also has clustered crowns of fierce spines much like the true cacti. Makes a great easy to care for houseplant suitable for a bright and sunny position.

How to take care of Euphorbia horrida
Position Euphorbia Horrida in a bright sunny south-facing window. Euphorbia Horrida need direct sunlight and moderate watering during their growing season. Allow the soil to dry out between each watering. Feed with a little bit of some liquid fertiliser during the growing season. Euphorbia are quite fast growing plants and will need to be transplanted to a bigger pot every other year use free draining compost mixed with sand and add pebbles to the bottom of the pot to ensure extra drainage.
Like most other Euphorbia's this variety contains a poisonous sap, which can cause irritation, so care should be taken when handling it.
