How to take care of Houttuynia cordata

Houttuynia cordata can become invasive if left to grow wild due to underground spreading rhizomes which would make Houttuynia cordatait a useful ground covering plant, if not then best planted in areas where its growth is restricted or in pots where growth can be controlled.

Houttuynia cordata is a fully herbaceous perennial that prefers partial shade. Houttuynia cordata will flourish in moisture retentive soil but is tolerant of a range of soils from dry to wet in sun or shade.

Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
