Very easy to grow. Plant in well-drained soil and choose a sunny location. Avoid heavy clay soils. Dead head regularly to extend the blooming period. Drought tolerant, once established. Prune lightly right after blooming, but otherwise leave plants alone in autumn and early spring.

Plant non-flowering cuttings in a cold frame in summer.
