How to take care of Kiwi - jenny

Soak the roots for approx. 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. This is a hardy deciduous Kiwi - jenny shrub it’s leaves do not appear until late spring.

Flowers appear in late summer and early autumn. Kiwi - jenny needs a sunny sheltered position to thrive in. In colder areas, plant Kiwi - jenny near a south-facing wall. Protect Kiwi - jenny from cold winds.

Use a well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Remove faded flower heads as they fade to prolong flowering. If Kiwi - jenny is planted in pots, plant in spring. There will be little growth in the first year.

Kiwi - jenny do well in various soil types. Kiwi - jenny likes to be constantly moist, but not wet. Feed twice a month during the growing season and prune as necessary to control plant size. Container-grown Kiwi - jenny plants should be brought indoors in extreme winter conditions.

Check Kiwi - jenny plants periodically for pests such as aphids, white flies, and mealy bugs. Use a horticultural oil or insecticidal soap to control these pests.
