How to take care of Lamium Orvala 9 cm pot
Choose a location in partial to full shade to avoid leaf scorching. Plant in moist, moderately rich, well-drained soil. It will grow in dry shade but you will need to water it will until it gets established. Water thoroughly but allow soil to dry slightly between each water application. During the growing season apply a balanced fertilizer monthly if the plant is established. Remove faded flower heads regularly to encourage new blooms. If the clump gets tired you can shear it over at any time of year, work some good garden compost into the (now) bare clump, water it and it will bounce back with renewed vigour. Provide protection from slugs and snails as they devour the new foliage. It roots as the stems touch the ground and these stems can be carefully cut and lifted to propagate it but it is very easy from cuttings too. Tip: Flowering and tall shoots do not root easily.
