How to take care of Omphalodes verna Alba
Suitable for planting in shade under trees or shrubs in moisture retentive humus rich soil. Add peat compost or leaf mould at the time of planting and mulch around the stems in each spring. Dead head regularly to prolong the flowering period.
Divide clumps in autumn. It can also be propagated from seed, but not all seedlings will be white. Generally pest and disease resistant, whilst also being dry shade tolerant once established.
