How to take care of Petunia Collection Blue/Pink/Red x 9
Upon receipt: give the plants a good soak. Carefully adapt the plants to their new environment, do not expose them to direct sunlight straight away (leave them for 1 day in a shady spot). Plant the plants in pots, containers, hanging baskets or borders after all risk of frost has passed. Loosen the base of the root ball and spread out the bottom roots before planting. For best results use a well-drained light soil. An over rich soil can produce leaves at the expense of flowers. Fertilise with organic pellets and ideally add slow release fertiliser to the soil at the time of planting. Deadhead regularly so that the plant will produce more flowers.
