How to take care of Cytisus Frisia
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Plant them either in autumn or spring. Cytisus does best in poor, sandy soil in a sunny location. It will flower abundantly from late spring to early summer. Cut back the stems after flowering to about half their length but make sure you do not cut into old wood. Harmful if eaten.
