Our standard roses are grafted onto a strong single stem; they come in different heights as single flowering, small flowering, and large flowering roses. The beauty of a standard rose is that they create a lovely focal point of interest in your garden. They stand out and accentuate.
Plant them for example in a square border, edged with Boxwood. The standard rose in the middle of the square and fill the gap around the base of the rose with Lavender.
A great combination and very colourful! If planted in containers, best not to keep them more than two seasons in a container, transplant out in the border into fresh soil.
