Azaleas are part of the Rhododendron family
The Azalea varieties we have on offer are Mollis and Japonica, they’re very hardy with an upright bushy growth habit. Azalea likes to be planted in a moist acidic soil. If you have a limy soil, add at least 20 litres of peaty compost in and around the planting hole to help the Azalea plants to get established.
During April- May these fine Azalea shrubs provide colour and a lot of fragrance. Azalea shrubs can also be planted in large containers in acidic soil.
