How to take care of Echinacea White Swan x 3
Echinacea/Échinacée purpurea alba White is a short-lived perennial which thrives in any reasonable garden soil, in a sunny, sheltered spot. Echinacea/Échinacée purpurea alba White will tolerate dry and warm climates but do not allow Echinacea/Échinacée purpurea alba White to dry out. Stake the stems for support when necessary. Remove dead flower heads to stimulate new growth. Cut Echinacea/Échinacée purpurea alba White down to ground level in late autumn and apply a light mulch of well-composted chicken manure or leaf mould. If supplied as bare roots: Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
High nitrogen fertilizer is not recommended, especially when growing Echinacea for root harvest, it can result in a weakened root system. Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
