How to take care of Fennel seed bag
Plant mid spring to early summer outdoors in rows after any risk of frost has passed. Likes to be planted in any well drained soil, if your drainage is poor add some grit or coarse sand. Prefers a sunny sheltered spot. Sow seeds about 30-50cm apart, 1cm deep. Spray with water after planting and during dry periods. Fertilise once or twice during the growing period with a general purpose product. Pick young leaves and stems as you need them, ripe seeds can be dried and stored for use in the kitchen. Use a clear plastic bottle with the bottom cut off to protect your herbs during the winter.
