How to take care of Galtonia candicans x 5
Plant Galtonia candicans in well-drained soil in a warm sunny, sheltered position. Plant Galtonia candicans according to the instruction on the package with the 'nose' upward into the soil. Galtonia candicans grow quite tall so they may need staking for support. Fertilize with any general purpose fertilizer during the growing season. Galtonia candicans are relatively hardy and a covering of mulch during winter is usually sufficient but in areas of extreme frosts, it is beneficial to dig up these bulbs once dormant and store until replanting in early spring.
