How to take care of Anemone St. Brigid x 20
Anemone St. Brigid should be soaked in water for 12 hours prior to planting. Plant Anemone St. Brigid in well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot or in full sun or if planted in pots. You can improve heavy soil by mixing in some sand. Plant Anemone St. Brigid accordingly to the instruction on the package. Water well after planting. For best results, as the buds materialize, add a high potash liquid feed in early spring to fertilize. Remove dead flower heads to promote new growth. Allow foliage to die back naturally as this will send nutrients to Anemone St. Brigid for next year’s bloom. Please note to survive harsh winters apply a mulch (straw or newspaper) over Anemone St. Brigid them to avoid any frost damage. Remove mulch when all danger of frost has passed. If you plant Anemone St. Brigid between September and November and from late March (no frosts) until late June, you will have an ongoing sequence of Anemone blooming until as late as August
