How to take care of Crinum Powellii Pink
Plant Crinum Powellii Pink in a sunny sheltered spot, in well-drained soil enriched with lots of organic material and bone meal. The tip of the bulb should be just visible above the surface of the soil. Ensure that you have allowed sufficient space, as Crinum Powellii Pink can grow quite large. Crinum Powellii Pink are also suitable for growing in pots, which should be brought indoors for winter. If planted in borders to survive harsh winters apply a mulch (straw or newspaper) over them to avoid any frost damage. Remove when all danger of frost has passed. Crinum Powellii Pink may be divided every 3-5 years because Crinum Powellii Pink are long and deep rooted, and it's best to dig up the whole clump and then remove the side bulbs rather than try to slice them off while still in the ground. Division is best done in late autumn.
