How to take care of Galanthus x 20
Galanthus flower from Mid-February to March. They look best planted in small groups in sun or partial shade under deciduous trees and shrubs where they will naturalise. Choose a position with cool well-drained, humus-rich acidic or neutral soil but not in alkaline. Place them 10-12 cm deep and 5-10cm apart water well after planting to stimulate growth. After flowering allow foliage to die back naturally as this will send nutrients to the bulbs for next years bloom. They often take a year in the ground until they reach their full potential so patients is required. Can be divided after flowering if they begin to overcrowd. Never let them dry out.
