How to take care of Tulip darwin hybrid Oxford x 10
Tulipan Oxford are ideal for rock gardens, borders and containers. Plant Tulipan Oxford bulbs in well-drained prepared soil in a sunny sheltered spot. If planted in flower pots, plant so they're just touching and place pots in a sunny location. Place Tulipan Oxford bulbs with the 'nose' upward into the soil (approx. 10 cm (4”) deep and 5 cm (2”) apart) cover with soil. Always water well after planting to stimulate growth. For best results, as the buds materialise, add a high potash liquid feed to fertilize. Please note to survive harsh winters apply a mulch (straw or newspaper) over them to prevent frost damage. Remove mulch when all danger of frost has passed. After flowering fertilize with nitrogen and allow the leaves to die back naturally, cut the leaves off when they turn completely yellow. Lift Tulipan Oxford bulbs and store the dry bulbs in a cool place, protect from mice. Replant in autumn.
