How to take care of Strawberry fragaria Ostara x 3 cauldron
Upon receipt of the plants, soak them well and let them get used to the daylight. Strawberries will grow in most types of soil as long as there is good drainage. Alternatively, plant them in troughs or baskets. If you grow them in rows, place straw in between the plants in winter, the fruit will then rest on it and will get less damaged. Fertilise well in the beginning with organic fertiliser and later with liquid fertiliser every 14 days. Newly planted strawberries need to be watered regularly. Plant before the first frosts.
SOIL TABLET Place the compressed soil tablet(s) in a bucket and add 1 pint of water per tablet to dissolve them. Mix the soil around until you have a fine structure. FERTILIZER TABLET Press the fertilizer tablet with your finger into the soil until it's top is just about covered by the soil. The tablet will last for up to 6 months, slowly releasing nutrients.
