How to take care of Aruncus dioicus- Goat’s beard
Aruncus dioicus- Goat’s beard can grow quite tall and wide, so it needs a reasonably amount of space, maybe at the back of the border or as a single specimen. Best planted in dappled shade in moist but well drained fertile soil. Make sure the planting site has been dug deeply as Aruncus dioicus- Goat’s beard roots like to go deep. Spray immediately in spring at the first sign of caterpillars. Cut back stems to just above the ground level in late autumn or after flowering. Generally disease free. Divide clumps in autumn, mature plants are more difficult to spilt.
