How to take care of Asclepias tuberosa
Plant Asclepias tuberosa in well-drained soil mixed with some dry gravel and in full sun and light shade. Plant the root vertically so that the eye is 3-5 cm / 2 " beneath the soil surface. Asclepias tuberosa need to be watered well after planting to stimulate growth and keep moist but water sparingly after that as Asclepias tuberosa are quite drought tolerant once established. Remove the faded flower heads as soon as they appear to promote growth. PLEASE NOTE: all parts of this plant is harmful if eaten.
