How to take care of Epimedium pinnatum colchicum
Epimedium pinnatum colchicum grows well in most well drained soil conditions but dislikes wet and alkaline soils. Remarkably drought tolerant once established. Epimedium pinnatum colchicum don’t like a full sun position so plant in light or full shade. Whilst Epimedium pinnatum colchicum cope well with dry shade, more moisture and humus in the soil is beneficial. The foliage is best cut off at ground level shortly before new leaves emerge in spring, so as to fully reveal their beauty of form and colour.
