Platycodon grandiflorus Astra Pink bears striking pink-veined bell-shaped single flowers. Also known as Chinese bellflower.
The development of the buds into flowers is fascinating to watch, as the buds grow into large balloon shapes and then burst forth in to lovely long lasting saucer shaped flowers.
Perfect for rock gardens! If planted in a sheltered position these beauties will reappear again next year.

Loosen the root- ball slightly to encourage the roots to take hold and water well after planting. Flower in the summer Plant depth/ width 15cm/15cm (6"/6")
Please soak the bare roots for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
