How to take care of Sedum cauticola Lidakense
Stonecrop - Sedums are easily grown. The ice plants S.spectabile and S.maximum are large plants more suited for the border than rockery while the smaller varieties are used in rockeries. They need full sun and will thrive in any fertile soil that drains well. Dies down to resting buds in winter. Once established they can withstand dry and warm conditions. Divide clumps in autumn or spring. If supplied as bare roots they need to be soaked for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows to rehydrate them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
