How to take care of Spirea arguta Hedge x 5
For best results soak the roots for approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. You can plant in autumn or spring and use a well-drained soil (not too dry). Spiraea flourishes in full sun and will tolerate partial shade. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Prune after flowering by cutting away any weak or old wood. Height and spread: 2 x 1m (6 x3 ft) after five years.
