How to take care of Wallflower Tom Thumb
Sow seed thinly 1cm deep, they will germinate after about 3 weeks or less if they are started off indoors. Preparation of the planting site is crucial and they will benefit greatly from the the mixing of plenty of organic matter including manure and leaf mould. Transplant seedlings to their final position when they are 10cm tall 20cm apart, they require a sunny position. Keep seedlings well watered until they become established but do not overwater. Wallflowers have a two-year life cycle. They often grow just leaves in the first season from seed and flowers the second.
