How to take care of Asparagus Early Argenteuil/asperge
Plants take about 3 years before you can harvest for the first time, plants continue to produce for almost 20 years. Sow in a small ditch about 3cm deep, rows about 30cm apart. Put the seeds into the ditch and cover them with loose soil. When the tiny plants appear, thin them out so they are about five inches apart. These plants will spend the first year in this spot. The following year they will need to be moved to a permanent spot in your garden. Water the asparagus regularly during very dry weather.
