How to take care of Standard Potentilla
For best results soak it approx 2 hrs before planting and water well after planting and for the next few weeks. Plant upon receipt for best results. Plant in a large planter with drainage holes and place a layer of pebbles in the bottom of the pot to ensure good drainage or it can be planted directly into the ground. It prefers a chalky soil and a sunny well sheltered position. During harsh winters you may need to bring pot grown trees indoors to an unheated room until it warms up.
